GPSR ready

We help you meet compliance regulations and get your products ready for the EU market.

What is GPSR?

The General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) is a regulation concerning the safety of products intended for consumers. It ensures that only safe products are sold in the EU.

Who is the EU Responsible Person?

The EU Responsible Person is a person or company established in the EU who is responsible for ensuring that the product complies with the GPSR. The Responsible Person must be identified on the product or packaging. It might be the manufacturer, importer, distributor, or a third party appointed by the manufacturer (an EU Authorised Representative).

Who is the EU Authorised Representative?

The EU Authorised Representative is a person or company established in the EU who is authorised by the manufacturer to act on their behalf in relation to the GPSR.

What type of products are covered?

The GPSR covers all products intended for consumers, including both new and second-hand products. But there are some exceptions. Products such as food, pharmaceuticals, and medical devices are not covered by the GPSR.

What kind of safety documentation is required?

The manufacturer must prepare a technical file containing all relevant information about the product, including risk assessment and test reports.

Where can I find more information?

For more information about the GPSR, you can visit the official website of the European Union.
